Religious Right vs. Secular Right

  1. Hmm... and how about the hypocritical right. Those who claim to accept everyone and do so in public, but do a lot of back stubbing and sabotaging. Those are the ones who truly scare me.

  2. I actually don't think I've really met too many right wingers who claim to accept everyone, and then actually discriminate.

Unfortunately, I have met liberals like that. They don't discriminate against certain groups, but then, for whatever reason, decide that some people don't deserve the same treatment/protection. I don't think it makes sense to pick and choose like that - and, of course, I don't think it's ethical.

  3. I've met the hypocritical right. I'm related to them. I went to church with them. I tried to be one of them.
They hate homosexuality so much because they love homosexuals so much. Just like they hate child molesting and love child molesters. Because, homosexuality is the same thing. Its not like homosexuality is potentially healthy or even neutral like having red hair or being left-handed.
Its only the love of the person that drives their hatred of the behaviour.
